By enrolling in tutoring services with **UNBLOK Global** (“UNBLOK”, “we”, “us”, “our”), students and parents/guardians agree to the following Terms of Service.
1.1. UNBLOK provides **online tutoring services** in a **one-to-one or small group format**, depending on the agreed plan.
1.2. Tutors are assigned based on **student requirements, subject expertise, and tutor availability**.
1.3. UNBLOK reserves the right to **reassign or substitute tutors** when necessary to ensure continuity and quality of service.
1.4. While we strive for academic improvement, **UNBLOK does not guarantee specific outcomes**, including grades, exam results, or admissions.
2.1. Class schedules are arranged **mutually between the student/parent and the tutor**, with coordination from UNBLOK when required.
2.2. Students are expected to **join sessions on time**.
Delays exceeding **15 minutes** without prior notice may be treated as a **completed session**.
2.3. Requests for rescheduling must be made **in advance** and are subject to tutor availability.
3.1. Cancellation by Student
3.1.1. Informed more than 4 hours in advance: No charge
3.1.2. Informed 2–4 hours in advance: 25% of session fee charged
3.1.3. Informed 1–2 hours in advance: 50% of session fee charged
3.1.4. Informed less than 1 hour in advance: 75% of session fee charged
3.1.5. No notice / No-show: 100% of session fee charged
3.2. Cancellation by Tutor
3.2.1. Informed more than 4 hours in advance: No charge
3.2.2. Informed 2–4 hours in advance: 15 minutes free session added to the next class
3.2.3. Informed 0–2 hours in advance: 30 minutes free session added to the next class
3.2.4. No notice / No-show: 1 full hour free session
4.1. Fees are charged per hour at the rate mentioned in the website at the time of signing up or agreed rate.
4.2. All payments must be made in advance, on a monthly basis, as agreed.
4.3. UNBLOK reserves the right to pause or terminate services if payments are delayed or outstanding.
4.4. Fees are non-refundable except at UNBLOK’s discretion if services cannot be delivered due to internal reasons.
5.1. Parents/students must ensure a suitable learning environment, including:
Stable internet connection
Functional device (laptop/tablet)
Quiet and distraction-free space
5.2. Students are expected to:
Attend sessions regularly
Complete assigned work
Maintain respectful conduct
5.3. Parents are responsible for:
Supporting timely attendance
Maintaining clear communication with tutors and UNBLOK
6.1. Respectful behaviour is expected from students, parents, and tutors at all times.
6.2. Any form of harassment, abuse, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct may result in immediate termination of services without refund.
6.3. Recording, sharing, or distributing class sessions without written consent from UNBLOK is strictly prohibited.
7.1. All student and parent information is treated as confidential.
7.2. Teaching materials, lesson plans, and resources provided by UNBLOK are for personal use only and may not be copied, shared, or redistributed.
8.1. Students/parents are responsible for ensuring proper devices and internet connectivity.
8.2. UNBLOK is not liable for disruptions caused by:
Internet failures
Power outages
Device malfunctions
Platform issues beyond our control
9.1. Either party may discontinue services by providing 7 days’ written notice.
9.2. UNBLOK reserves the right to terminate services immediately in cases of:
Misconduct
Repeated cancellations or no-shows
Non-payment
UNBLOK may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of services implies acceptance of the revised terms.
